Our campaign is important because we all have been taught the lesson to not text and drive and keep both hands on the wheel, but we've drifted away from the proper way to drive. I know several people who have received tickets for texting and driving. I feel that it’s important for people to be made aware because they know about the infraction but don’t take proper heed to all penalties that come with it.

The Ten and Two Texting and Driving campaign will bring awareness to individuals who tend to text while driving. There are so many consequences that happen while being distracted by a text message that most people wouldn’t think will happen to them, but in all seriousness, most people will never know what will happen. The feeling of watching others text and drive make me cringe due to the fact that you really are not concentrating on your safety. In my opinion, texting while driving is a selfish act. It shows s careless act of ones safety as a whole. Bringing awareness from the Ten and Two Campaign will definitely open the eyes of the people around us.
